Taranza

Taranza is a character in the Kespuzzuo Fanwork Corpus, who made his first appearance in Skygardening. He is a spider with magic abilites, and is Sectonia's best friend.

As a character, he originates from the Kirby franchise.

Physical Appearance

Just like Sectonia, he is a cloud spider. This means that he is like a spider, but not like how a spider is usually depicted has. He floats in the air, and has 6 floating hands, but no legs. He has a silver bowl cut for his hair, and his skin can be described as brown, or "chestnut" colored.

He has two white eyes without pupils in his face, and two golden eyes with pupils above, through his hair. On the back of his head he has four golden eyes, just like the ones on front. His head has two yellow horns.

He is often seen wearing a green cloak, a red scarf, white gloves with orange parts, and a green shirt with buttons.

History

Before Skygardening

Taranza was born into the Floralian nobility, meaning that his family already had connections with the royal family. He and Sectonia are childhood friends, he met her before she became a Queen. Eventually, when Sectonia was crowned, she let Taranza become one of her most valued assistants. He was even given a fancy bedroom at the palace.

When it was found that Dark Mind was using mirrors to corrupt people, he and Sectonia quickly found out about what was going on, specially due to them hearing news about the corrupted attacking innocent people. Hence, the two spiders formed the Council of the Seven Years. The council was made to investigate and catch Dark Mind.

Skygardening

On the day that Povynn, Emronia, and Quentin arrived, Taranza was picking up some flowers, but was attacked by a group of scarfies. After Povynn saved Taranza from the attack, the spider suggests that the three lakesprits join the council. Povynn accepts it, and eventually the other two do it as well. The next day, Taranza guided the three lakesprits through the royal palace, and introduced the Queen to them.

The council kept working on chasing Dark Mind for the following week. Taranza kept himself close to Sectonia. He also caught Neblino and revealed his identity. Eventually, the council defeated Dark Mind, and disbanded while celebrating the end of their enemy.

Abilities

He's able to cast magical spider webs and string. His silk allows him to pull, wrap and throw people or objects. He can also puppeteer people by sticking strings on them.
